Hey kids! So today I will be review the dinner I made yesterday, I made gnocchi. Gnocchi is a potato based pasta. So lets get started!
So first I peeled some potatoes, 2 lbs and 4 ounces
Then we steamed the potatoes with a steamer. (We put a lid on the pot)
This is a potato ricer, it keeps the potato fluffy and airy.
As I cooled the potatoes I got a large egg and flour. I accidentally mixed the egg and flour.
I mixed the potatoes with the egg and flour mix making it a dough. Also guys! If you look close in the picture I still have my school calendar up from March!😂That is the last time I went to school!
I cut the dough into strips and rolled them out. Then we cut them, and to make some of them look fancy me and my parents used a fork and rolled them on the fork.
These are some of the gnocchi.
Gnocchi are the easiest pasta to cook, not make though. You know they are ready to eat when they float to the top.
I also made tomato sauce. I mixed the gnocchi with the tomato sauce.
So this gnocchi was actually pretty good. But it was softer then usual gnocchi. The tomato sauce was AWESOME!!!! If you want the gnocchi recipe, I got it from The Silver Spoon For Children. If I had to rate it I would give it a 6 or 7.
